All silencers quiet firearms, each are generally close to one another in sound signature. No matter how quiet, its not recommended to shoot without hearing protection. Silencers are like giving your firearm gun muffs to quiet it down 20+ dbs. Many silencer can be sound safe at the muzzle, while demonstrating louder signatures at the shooters ears. Loud sounds are cumulative meaning the more you do it the more damage you do. Any sound over 100 db, is really beyond the range/scope of the human ear, so someone saying 140 db is safe is far from reality. Your ears might not be ringing but damage is being done.
We have purchased and shot suppressors from a variety of brands. We do stock, Witt Machine, YHM, B&T suppressors and will order anything you would like if available to us. Honestly, I would rather see someone own 3 suppressors then 1 ultra expensive one made out of super-alloys, however, its your money. If I can get it, I will order it.
Are suppressors worth it? Yes, they make shooting, hunting vastly more enjoyable. They are exceedingly quiet when paired with a pistol caliber and the correct ammunition.
